I like your composition on this shot. Nice IR exposure also.

Just curious, did you convert your D70 yourself? You seem to be having good success with your focus on such a wide angle lens. I just converted a Canon 350d myself and getting it to work well with my 10-22mm lens is tricky.

Many thanks for your comment! I paid LifePixel to convert, and part of the process was to recalibrate the auto-focus for iR. In the old days of 35mm lenses, there was a standard iR focal setting adjustment, very tricky and very annoying. Ya' never exactly knew what you were going to end up with. I considered doing it myself (after all, what could possibly go wrong........?) I reallocated some disposable income and went the higher percentage route. The only minor annoyance I've discovered is an occasional hot spot dead center with the Sigma ultra wide. It's great fun though. Good luck, good shooting. -john
